Southwest Lath & Plaster was founded in 1985. Since its creation, Southwest has maintained a constant growth of experienced field and office personnel to meet the growing needs of our customers.
We specialize in commercial design/build construction projects where quality and service are top priorities. We also have in-house AWCI certified "EIFS Smart" applicators for all your EIFS solutions.
Roger L. Burke, - CEO Roger maintains general oversight of the company with a specific focus on marketing, relationship management and final review on job estimates and contracts. He has over forty years of business and construction experience. Roger is a retired Air Force officer who received his MBA in 1978. His philosophy is that developing strong personal relationships and doing a job right the first time are essential ingredients to business success. Roger is an AWCI certified “EIFS Smart” applicator. He served for many years on both the Texas Lath & Plaster Association (TLPCA) Board and Executive Board.
Susan Burke - President Susan’s specific area of focus is finance and cash management. Her responsibilities include payroll, billings, accounts payable, collections, and insurance. She received her MHA in 1980 and has 30 years business experience.
Randy Holster, COO Randy has day to day responsibility for all company operations. He has over thirty years experience in the industry as a laborer, foreman, field superintendent, project manager and estimator. Prior to joining Southwest Lath & Plaster he was chief estimator for several plaster companies, including the largest company in Texas (statewide operations). He has experience in successfully estimating and managing a full range of jobs, including government, commercial, and residential projects. No job is too large or too small for Randy. He stresses that our small clients are just as important as the large ones. He is an AWCI “EIFS Smart” certified applicator. He is currently serving on the board of the South Central Walls, Ceilings and Plastering Association (formerly known as TLPCA).
Keith Frazier, Senior Project Manager Keith oversees all projects. He is responsible for labor and materials management, product application operations, and scheduling. Keith has worked in construction for the last thirty years. His experience includes his start has a scaffold builder and latherer, moving to job supervision and to project manager. He is equally at home managing small to high dollar projects to include commercial, government and residential. Keith is an AWCI “EIFS Smart” certified applicator. He is also “Green Advantage Certified” and has managed LEED projects. Keith’s management skill and his focus on quality ensures that we finish our projects on budget and on time.
Mike Jaillet, General Superintendent Mike has over 30 years experience in our industry. He oversees all Field Superintendents. Mike is a skilled craftsman in all areas of stucco, lath, plaster and EIFS. Mike is a hands-on superintendent. As such, he is personally involved in each project with each field superintendent. Mike is respected through out the industry for his product application and supervision skills. He believes that high quality workmanship provides the best looking finished product as well as the lowest overall cost for the owner.
Melanie Braddy, Office Manager Melanie is responsible for the smooth operation of our office. Her areas of focus include human resources, job cost reports, project billings and contract administration.
